Off-the-stand sales made the recent MACH 2010 exhibition a great success for Aberlink, UK manufacturer of coordinate measuring machines, vision systems and measurement software.
Company sales director, Gavin Bailey, reported. "MACH 2010 was a tremendous success for Aberlink, not only were sales enquiries up by an impressive 40%, compared to previous years, the overall quality of the leads generated was also better. A tangible example of the show's success was an "off-the-stand " CMM sale to Kalstan Engineering. Another off-the-stand order was the sale of our recently launched, portable measuring arms software to a leading FI Team. This product will allow them to standardise on one quality software package for their mix of portable measuring arms."
"Anticipated sales directly attributable to our MACH attendance will easily top six-figures. The up-beat mood of the show confirms Aberlink's experience over the past 12 months, both in the UK and worldwide, in terms of improved levels of business and our increase in global CMM market share. As sales of our Axiom Too and Zenith Too bridge CMM's is currently booming, our UK manufacturing plant is working at full capacity to satisfy our full order book. Consequently, turnover within this fiscal year is more than 50% above target and we are now actively recruiting both production and development staff."
