Testing service provider Exova has signed a multi-million pound framework agreement with global Aerospace and Defence business, Saab, to deliver materials technology expertise and testing services over the next five years (three years with a two-year extension option).

Tecnatom is supplying two new robotic inspection systems for the Airbus production site in Nantes. The first one is already operating at the customer premises and the second has just passed the pre-acceptance tests.

Renishaw has awarded £10,000 to Southville Primary School, Bristol, winner of its Super Science competition held in collaboration with the Bristol Post newspaper. The school will use the prize money to purchase a range of indoor and outdoor science equipment including circuits, magnets, microscopes and weather stations.
