The new Werth TomoScope 200 / 225kV coordinate measuring machine with X-ray tomography combines a compact footprint with a new high-resolution X-ray detector. It performs both dimensional measurements and material inspection of small and medium sized work pieces.
The Metroscan series of robot-mounted optical CMM 3D scanners are designed for automated inspection on and off the production line. The device, from Creaform, was world premiered at the CONTROL tradeshow in Stuttgart, Germany earlier this month.
The ability to measure multiple sensing points over large intricate surfaces can be a difficult task.
