Autodesk has announced its intention to acquire Delcam, one of the world's leading suppliers of advanced software for manufacturing industry. The companies offer complementary ranges of software, with Autodesk's programs for design, engineering and entertainment able to be combined with Delcam strengths in manufacturing.
Held at the company's new Demonstration Suite in Camberley, Surrey, the recent Measurement Open Days hosted by Bowers Group were described as "an outstanding success" by Measurement Group MD, Geoff Jackson; "Our new Group Sales HQ and showroom in Camberley is the perfect location to show customers what we can offer, it offers an opportunity to work with them on a one to one basis, solving their specific metrology problems."
